Turn right out of Battersea Park station (overground trains from Victoria) and take the next right onto Queenstown Road.
Go over the roundabout ahead and into the park - take the first left (carriage drive south) and follow it around the lake.
This will bring you to the Football pitch - turn right directly before the football pitch and follow the path for around 200 metres - this will bring you alongside the softball pitch (marked on the map as Rec Grounds)
