RECREATIONAL
- Perfect for those who have had a few years off, or are looking to try a new sport.
- It is ideal for helping you to get back into the game, or learning and improve your skills.
- At recreational level you get a good standard of competition in which to learn new skills and tactics from friends and opponents whilst still competing in a fully officiated environment.
INTERMEDIATE
- Get your game face on and get in the zone! This level is for those players who ‘have played quite a bit in the past’ – think school, university, club play.
- Players tend to have solid knowledge of rules and tactics and as such expect to face some high quality competition.
- This is a great level for teams who thrive on the pure competition of sport and want to begin their journey towards becoming professional legends!
COMPETITIVE
- This is our highest level league for experienced players only
- Designed for the “best of the best” , the cream of the crop, the equivalent of the NBA for GO Mammoth. Takes place on the best basketball courts in the country!

Basketball FAQ
Season lengths are either 8 week or 12 weeks (depending on the size of the league).
Every team will play a 40 min match each week – with start times varying week-to-week e.g. 7pm, 7.40pm, 8.10pm
Everything provided – Referees, tables, equipment, league tables, prizes etc
Individuals / small groups – join up and we’ll place you into balanced teams with others individuals of similar experience.
If joining with a friend, enter their name during registration to be kept on same team. 70% of players join alone, and it’s a great way to make new basketball friends in London.
Basketball teams – the Captain/Organiser register the team online, as this works out cheaper per player. You can choose to pay in full, or split the payment between between your team-mates to save collecting money from them individually.
A season is usually 8 or 12 games, depending on league size.
Season length is specified during registration.
We provide everything – weekly fixtures, venue hire, referees/table officials, balls, bibs, standings, and league prizes.

We offer mixed Basketball 5v5 and standard mens basketball 5v5 leagues, depending on the venue.
Mixed are a great option for ladies basketball players looking to get into the sport. They are very social and suited to all levels.
Our ‘Recreational’ basketball leagues are best suited for Beginners to basketball.
These leagues are friendly, slower-paced and ideal if you’re new to the sport or haven’t played in a while.
