Rep of the Month – Cheryl Grant
Cheryl is our multi talented dance and pilates instructor, throwing shapes and toning stomachs in the South West 3 nights a week. She’s proven to be an asset to the company, popular with members and always looking for ways to ensure her classes are some of the best out there. With her own mixed music, and even glow stick party weeks she really does go above and beyond – Thanks for all your hard work Cheryl!!
Best Newcomer – Marcelo Radavane
Volleyball, total legend, popular with the players, mega organised and even keeps head office amused with updates like ‘mission accomplished at Battersea tonight’ which keeps us and the members calm and happy. Marcelo is straight up with everything, a very very good ref and definitely deserves this.
Special Mention – Jo Awbery
Jo is an unconditional help down at our Reading netball leagues. As head office staff can not be there every week, she ensures she keeps up the awesome standards and that all ladies have a super fun night. We really appreciate all the hard work you Reading ladies do 🙂

Stephen is a huge part of teams “Sporting BeerGoggles”, “FIRE!” and “Delight FC”, and plays football with us 3 times a week at our Whitechapel and Angel venues. Keep at it Stephen…great work!!
Alex joined us on the 21st June 2010, and hasn’t looked back since!! It’s the month of the World Cup, and everyone is football football football, however Alex always has been. Having played in our Brixton, Fulham and Barnes leagues his skills get about a bit!! Cheers for the commitment Alex.
Ex player, bossing both dodgeball leagues at Barbican and everyone is loving him. Also refs various football leagues to create effect. We will miss you when you are on your travels, but look forward to your return. Have an awesome time and cheers for all your help!!
Lehanne is one of our newest netball umpires in Birmingham, and has been a big hit with the players (and us) – I feel head umpire might be on the cards. With organisation, proffesionalism and experience high on her list she hasn’t forgotten about the social side and is arranging a league night out after finals. Great effort Lehanne 🙂
This guy is multi-talented, currently refereeing football, touch rugby AND volleyball. Nick is very professional and friendly, all the players in his leagues love him which is obviously no.1 priority, however he is also an awesome member of the team as helps out with cover when needed. Nick has introduced multiple new refs to our leagues and helped train them. The more refs we get like you Nick, the better – Cheers!!
This one goes out to Matt Pitchforth and his football team “Barnesalona”!! Matt is an awesome member of GO Mammoth who always goes above and beyond with a smile on his face. These lads have been playing with us for 15 seasons…yes 15 SEASONS!! Cheers guys for being such an awesome team, you definitely deserve recognition.
Having played in 4 teams, currently playing in 3 and attending regular clinics Mel is an ultimate netballer. She also gets involved in GO Mammoth events and has given our fitness classes a go! Very well deserved Mel, cheers 🙂
Stephen, what a guy! He has been with us since the very beginning and pretty much tried his hand at most of the sports we offer. A regular dodgeball and softballer he has found his niche, however he’s also gone outside this Summer for a bit of volleyball too. We love you Stephen!!
Carly’s friendly and energetic nature ensures her fitcampers and dancers are having fun whilst working towards those fabulous Summer bodies. Loved by her members, she is also a favourite of the fitness team as she is always willing to help out when instructors are ill last minute. We’re looking forward to having her back from her honeymoon after getting married on Saturday! Congratulations Carly!! A little wedding present from us 😉
Vijay is our new Boxfit instructor in Battersea and Clapham South. With excellent feedback received from his classes, the fitness team have nominated him for Best Newcomer. “He’s always willing to get stuck into more shifts and his members love him and this is exactly why we’ve nominated him”
A special mention goes out to our basketball table official “Paco”. Always on-time, reliable and efficient, Paco is now working towards his basketball officiating qualifications and will be a solid member of the GM team. Cheers for all your hard work.
We couldn’t think of a more deserved team for this months TOM! The Beach Bums are keen (not too keen :-)), competitive, friendly and understand the true meaning of a rec league. This extremely well rounded team started playing with us last Summer, have made it to knockout stages for the past few seasons, and have recently been crowned Champions in our Barbican Volleyball league. They prove how hard work and a friendly nature pays off – good job 🙂
Currently playing in 5 different teams, Zein is a Mammoth footballer!! He got involved in November 2011 and hasn’t looked back since. We love Zein’s enthusiasm and commitment to the game…If he could play twice every night of the week he would!! Nice one Zein.
Kat has shared her skills with 5 different netball teams throughout her time playing with us. Currently organising the “Pink Panthers” ladies team and playing as part of the “Disco Mixers” mixed netball team she is still a regular on court, as well as being one of GO Mammoth’s members with the most fixtures EVER played. We’re impressed!!
Ollie has been with us for just 4 months now and he’s smashing it, he’s just taken over Balham boxfit and is even launching our advanced boxfit. As well as receiving awesome feedback from our memebrs, he’s always willing to fill in and is extremely flexible changing locations if needed. He is exactly what we look for in our GO Mammoth fitness instructors. Keep boxing your way to glory Ollie!! 
GO Mammoth have only been in Cardiff for a couple of months but have already found some awesome umpires. One that has really stood out is Kelly ‘the legend’ Andrews. Kelly is great at giving the teams tips throughout their games and generally making sure everyone is happy down at the leagues. She really does tick all the boxes…if only she could umpire more nights with us! Thanks Kelly, keep up the Mammoth work.
Harriet is one of our longest standing umpires and is a regular friendly face down at the Clapham leagues. We can honestly say that we have NEVER received one piece of negative feedback regarding Harriet; she is nothing but amazing. Both friendly and professional, she’s everything we want in a GO Mammoth umpire. Let’s just say, we are beyond thankful that she is on our team. 😉
The Diamonds are a GO Mammoth softball dynasty! They have been playing for an amazing 16 seasons, and have notched up an incredible 96 wins over their time with us. Add to that their 7 championship wins and the Diamonds are a force to be reckoned with! Not only that, they are incredibly social – always happy to help the other teams out and always the last to leave the bar! Good on you Diamonds, keep up the good work!
Juliet joined us over a year ago and has tried her hand at a variety of sports and fitness classes including Fitcamps, Zumba, Pilates & Abs and Netball. She is currently doing fitcamp 3 times a week in Wandsworth Common as well as netball in Balham. Since joining, Juliet has roped in a few friends to join her and made many more at the classes. As a proud supporter of GO Mammoth we hope you enjoy the new hoodie Juliet.. you’ve earned it : ) 
Steph is quite simply the perfect poster woman for GO Mammoth. She has been playing with us since Mammoth netball was invented back in 2010 and is our 5th longest standing member. To top that, her team The Echoes, hold the most amount of wins EVER for a netball team – pretty epic hey! Steph, we salute your awesomeness, may it never end! Wear the hoodie with pride.. 
Mo Ibrahim is a volleyball power house! He runs both Barbican and Balham volleyball leagues (our 2 biggest) as well as the clinics, and is massively popular with all players. He is able to change his approach depending on ability, from very experienced to complete beginners, and has buckets of positive feedback! You’re awesome Mo. 
Richard Croker – Just started reffing 5-aside football at Whitechapel and has already had a massive impact on the leagues. He’s incredibly reliable and never lets us down, and his feedback has been great, proving his popularity with the players. Keep up the stellar work Richard, you’re doing a mammoth job! 
Byron is our “Mr Mixed Basketball”. He is our longest serving basketball referee, and he’s bossing both mixed basketball leagues (Wimbledon + Islington) on his own. He offers coaching advice at leagues and is instrumental in improving everyone’s game. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is enjoying the league. Many thanks for your efforts over the last few years. We remember that eventful first ever basketball league (!) very well… 😉
The Anaphylaxis are quite a new team to our Clapham South dodgeball league and definitely made a good first impression. Nominated by one of our reps for their general “awesomeness”, they have also had some great team t-shirts made up – loving the “pink squirrel look”… Starting off as beginners, they are basically now pro’s. Enjoy your bonus point guys, keep it up!
Ariane is quite a new member of GO Mammoth joining us back in August, but has hit it hard ever since. You can normally find her honing her skills at our volleyball clinics, smashing some balls in our Paddington volleyball league or working up a sweat at our Battersea Park FitCamp. We’re very impressed Ariane, keep it up.
In the world of GO Mammoth, Kerrie is a lifer! She first signed up in June 2010, and has been playing with us ever since. Currently a vital member of the Sharpshooters netball team she is regularly bringing home gold in the Fulham netball league. She has also played at White City and Elephant & Castle so has variety in her GM netball career. We love your loyalty Kerrie 🙂
We are super lucky to have a rep as loved by our members as Joana is! She’s been with us a year now and is absolutely loving it. Bringing so much energy to every class, and always emphasising the fun that can be had through exercise, it’s no wonder she’s so popular with all her members. Joana has developed her own unique form of Pilates & Abs class, blending it with Yoga, Tai Chi and Ab Blasts, and it’s proven really popular with her ever expanding client base. 
We do not have a bad word to say about Avalon. She has been umpiring netball for us for a few months now and she is PERFECT for the job. She has a mammoth mix of professionalism, expertise and friendliness which is perfect for both intermediate and recreational leagues. Well done Avalon! 
Chantell is definitely a favourite with the Tufnell Park players. She ticks off the list of what a GO Mammoth netball umpire is all about, as well as regularly going above and beyond. Chantell even awarded her players of the match with choccies as a sweet bonus 🙂 We love your work Chantell…keep it up!!
